You can license ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes with additional capabilities to extend the functionality of your organization. Licensed capabilities include premium and other capabilities.
In this release, the following capabilities are supported and require additional licensing:
- Image hosting allows you to create hosted imagery layers. This premium capability is available with an ArcGIS Image Services license for Kubernetes.
- Raster analytics allow you to perform distributed raster analytics. This premium capability is available with an ArcGIS Raster Analytics license for Kubernetes.
- Notebook services allow you to author notebooks and automate workflows. This capability is available at the following licensing levels:
- An ArcGIS Notebook Services license is provided with the ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes license. This license allows organization members to author notebooks using ArcGIS Notebook Python 3 Standard runtime and automate notebook workflows using scheduled tasks, webhooks, and web tools.
- An ArcGIS Notebook Services Advanced license is available as a premium capability and provides access to the ArcGIS Notebook Python 3 Advanced runtime with additional ArcPy capabilities beyond what is provided in the ArcGIS Notebook Services license.
License:
- The ArcGIS Image Services license does not include functionality available from the ArcGIS Raster Analytics license.
- The ArcGIS Raster Analytics license includes functionality available from the ArcGIS Image Services license.
License a capability
Once Esri has authorized a license for you, visit My Esri to obtain an authorization file. You will use this file to authorize your organization during deployment, when creating an organization.
If there are any changes to your organization's licensing after deployment, you must obtain a new license file and import it into your organization. See Import licenses for more information.
